Sleepstones are rocks which can influence our sleep.
They are often:
- of the root chakra
- brown, red or black
- of the earth element
Their effects are often
There are also sleepstones which are also dreamcrystals, which means they can influence dreams.
To use: Put it under your pillow, on a nightstand, on you, e.g. in your pocket, or on a locket or pouch around your neck. Ideally, before placing your crystal in the chosen location, hold it with both hands and meditate with it for a few moments before going to sleep, concentrating on your intention or praying it helps you attain your goal.
Specific Sleepstones & Their Effects
There are many crystals which can be used as sleepstones. For example:
Amethyst – promotes better sleep and protects against night terrors, nightmares, insomnia, stress, anxiety, and negative energies, but is also a powerful dreamcrystal which promotes dream interpretation, vivid dreams, pleasant dreams, dream recall, relaxation, lucid dreaming, and astral projection.
Red Jasper – the Red Jasper is a dreamcrystal which can improve dream recall, however since it is also grounding and provides protection, it can be used to improve sleep as well.
Moonstone – promotes dreams, lucid dreams, peaceful sleep, and dream recall, while protecting against insomnia, nightmares, and sleepwalking.
Selenite – promotes peace, serenity, purification, and better sleep, while protecting against stress, insomnia, nightmares, and negative energy.
