Anadenanthera peregrina (also known as yopo or jopo) is an entheogenic tree native to the Caribbean and South America where its seeds have been used for healing for thousands of years.
The seeds contain mostly bufotenin, but also a small amount of dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and 5-MeO-DMT, which are psychedelic alkaloids.
Method of consumption: Snuff.
Dose: 0.5 grams of powdered seeds.
Smoking the powder induces a weaker effect with stronger physical symptoms.
It is possible to also use yopo orally, especially in combination with ayahuasca.
