What is Sleep Coaching?
Coaching is a relationship between a coach and a client in which the coach trains, supports and guides the client in achieving his or her goals.
Health coaches focus specifically on helping their clients deal with health issues.
Sleep coaching is a sub-specialty within health coaching, focusing on improving people’s sleeping habits.
If you suffer from a sleep disorder, your sleep coach will guide you through the process of getting evaluated by a sleep physician and going through a sleep study, if needed.
S/he will also be able to “audit” your daily schedule, diet, exercise and other lifestyle factors that may be negatively affecting your sleep.
Finally, the coach will create a step-by-step action plan to help you achieve your goals and provide support throughout the process.
Since sleep affects so many different parts of our lives, you will be amazed how much you can improve your life and health simply by getting better sleep.

What to Expect?

I will interview you via phone, email or a chat service, such as Facebook or Skype. The interview may require 1 or more sessions. I will also ask you to fill-in a very detailed questionnaire and to maintain a sleep diary for a week, using a sleep tracker when possible.
I will use the data I gather from the interview, questionnaire and diary to set a goal and a time frame to achieve it as well as design a detailed and personalized action plan that will help you achieve your goal.
You will then be able to choose if you want to continue on your own or remain in touch with me through regular meetings, phone calls or chat sessions.
